More than just Fizz..
I do not enjoy January I have decided, not enough sun or flowers in the garden for my liking. However, it was brightened up this weekend by a rather fabulous gathering of 'Decidedly Different' wedding suppliers at the Blue Fizz Wedding Fair at Exeter Castle this weekend.

As much as there was a wonderful lot of future brides and engaged couples to meet and discuss potential colour schemes and flower choice with. It was also great to be surrounded and catch up with some rather excellent and like minded wedding suppliers. It was apparent to me we all really rather loved our jobs..
So here are just a few of my favourite:

I had the chance to catch up with Nikki from Knots and Kisses a talented artist and Graphic Designer who had a fantastic and bespoke selection of wedding stationary. From romantic and classic to the bold and unexpected.

If I was to get married again I think I would be off to 'Days of Grace' the most beautiful collection of vintage gowns, dresses and accessories.. to be honest we all enjoyed a bit of dress up during the weekend. From Feather Jackets to Vintage Headdresses. So if you are looking for something unqiue and that little bit different then visit http://www.daysofgracevintage.co.uk/
Meeting Milla the owner of 'Hayne' the most incredibly enchanted wedding venue was a real delight. Someone who was trully passionate about their job and creating special and delightful events in their unique home turned venue. With an oak framed Long Barn which offers 5 star accommodation for guests as well as Shepard Huts and Yurts on the ground.. who could want for more. Located at Zeal Monachorum not far from Crediton. A place of magic and I am sure if you look hard enough.. magical faries. http://haynedevon.co.uk/
Looking for a talking point then Sugar Mama's is the lady to head to.. yes that is a working clock made out of sugar. Her confectionary work is elaborate and different and really rather something. http://www.sugarmamas.co.uk/

Frances of Fanfare Ceremonies.. is a 'freakn Awesome Celebrant' - and actually it sums her up perfectly. Bubbly, genuine and a real fresh of air.. Perfect person to have to help you build a personal and meaningful ceremony for you and your loved one! Makes me want to get married all over again!
As well as all that she also has an event hire company for all things .. chairs, tables and china..

The lovely Frances Carlisle was there a fine art photographer who I have had the joy of working with at Hillersdon House on a few occassions now, a fantastic photographer and a joy to work with. http://www.francescarlisle.co.uk/
Harriet from Dewinton Paper Co also was exhibiting. She is so talented! such a clever artist. I could watch her work for hours.
