I met Rob and Abbi back at a Coastal Tents open day and they were having to plan their wedding in advance as Rob was in the Army and around the globe much of the time. A spring time wedding at Sherborne Castle was their choice. Abbi wanted bucket loads of delicate spring blooms ranging from Muscari, Hellabores, Ranunculus and the special Butterfly Ranunculus, Spirea, Lilac blossom the first of the Sweet Peas and so much more. Abbi's bouquet was made into a more modified cascade to feet the more traditional and classic feel of their day.
Rebecca Love has kindly let me share some of classical imagery from their day. Covering Dorset and the South she is a lovely photographer. Her instagram feed is here for you to check out.
Maids Posies made with oodles of fresh foliage, paperwhites, forget me knots and spray rose Snowflake.
Below are just a few of my little pics from the day.. I am never very good in a rush.. but I do love the picture of all the beautiful buttonholes.. that we made for the day!. The urns were made to be moved.. and were then placed in Milk Churns at Stockbridge barn for the more informal part of the day. Filled to the brim with Foxgloves, Snaps and Delphiniums.. the pew ends were stems of blossom tied on with silk ribbon.. simple and elegant.
