Wedding Showcase
This last Sunday we took some of our flowers to the 'Dorset Wedding Festival' and met some lovely couples who are getting married in and around Dorset.
We went with all early summer blooms and added a very large meaure of lux to our natural styled flowers. Using Foxgloves, Peonies, Scented Garden Roses, Hawthorn Blossom, Aqueligia, Scented Stock and much more.
I loved the Chair Back that we designed for the 'Festival' and it was one piece that certainly caught peoples attention on the day. Full of David Austin 'Patience' Roses, Sarah Bernhardt Peony and Rosemay all offered up a really intense scent.
Peony Coral Charm took centerpiece in this Hand Tied Vase Arrangement. Coral Charm is a beautiful peony that over times not only opens up fully, but also starts to fade to a paler peach. They really are a knock out bloom and complemented the lime greens, whites and plale cream in this palette so well.
The day was a great success and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet so many other brilliant exhibitors from Blue Bay Events, Knighton House, Georgina Read Creative, Sophie Bowdler Photography, and Lacewing Wedding Films.
The day was blessed with beautiful sunshine and due to the great organisation of Sam Savage this 'Wedding Festival' really offered a lively, friendly and joyful atmosphere to this unique exhibition.
