Faye and Karl's Glorious Winter Wedding!
It seems that all of my February brides end up with the most glorious of winter days, for Faye and Karl it was no different - the sun shone and it truly felt like spring had arrived, even if it did snow the following week.
I worked with Faye on providing beautiful and bespoke bridal flowers for her and her bridal party, she chose my Bridal and Blooms service for her wedding, where along with personal bouquets I supplied her with lashings of additional stems to achieve their own decoration for their reception. It is the perfect service if you are wanting knock out bridal flowers and are happy to get creative and do a little DIY for your own day.

Faye's bouquet was designed with a real woodland feel, incorporating Hellabores, Ranunculus and the incredible dark burgundy Kloon Ranunculus, Astrantia, Astilbe, Scabious seed heads, Skimmia, Viburnum Steel Berries, Spray roses and Upper Secret roses. With a lovely mix of winter evergreen foliage such as Box, Ivy, Viburnum, Abeila and stems like Hazel and Magnolia twigs.
The Wedding was held at Burley Manor, the New Forest, Hampshire. The Bridal Party and guests were then taken to the town hall for their wedding ceremony! Yes they all traveled in a big London Red Bus.. perfect splash of colour for a winter wedding.
I love that Faye trusted to let me make something just a little different for her flower girl. I made a natural willow hoop and then we covered the bottom half with roses and textures to match the bouquets and of course every little flower girl needs ribbon trails!.
Such a beautiful and happy couple - what a perfect shot for the mantelpiece!
