Country Charm for Katrina and Richards' Dorset Wedding

I met Katrina and Richard last summer when they were trying to find time in between their hectic lives and trying to run a farm. Looking to have a real country feel and using as much British flowers as possible for their day, it was a real pleasure to create some rustic arrangements for their Church wedding.. Proudly a huge percentage of the flowers were all British and all the arrangements like so much of our wedding work was no foam.

Here are some really fun photos by Jake Moore Photography of the day! The smaller ones by me..

Katrina's bouquet was made up of David Austin Garden Roses, Bridal Piano. Yarrow, Lady's Mantle, Cornflower, Silver Mint, Sweet Peas, Cat Mint, Barley, Rosemary and more.. Proud to say 70% of the blooms were grown directly here in Dorset and just miles from the wedding venue..

I decorated the hoop outside the church.. (pic by me) with a no foam construction, decorated with Wild clematis, Sweet Pea Vines, Miranda David Austin Roses and Cornflower.

Little button holes (pic by me).. left on the pew for Richard just before the service. With Grasses, Barley and Dried Wheat all as a nod to their farming life.

Dear Emma,

We just wanted to write to say a huge thank you for the most beautiful flowers you created for our wedding day! They fitted our brief perfectly and made our wedding day as beautiful as we'd hoped. Thank you for your attention to detail and your informative, flexible way of working! You said our flowers were 70% from Dorset, I think our whole wedding was, which is what we wanted. From the flowers, the cake, the alcohol, the cheese, the people and the cows! It made it that little bit extra special that we didn't have to go far to create our perfect day!

Best wishes and the biggest of thank yous,

Mr & Mrs Martin

I wish this lovely couple the best of everything to come.. a joy to work with and real pleasure to create some real country blooms for a true country couple!
