Perfect village and marquee wedding for Ash and Philippa in Dorset.
There are some weddings that just make you smile from start to finish.. this was one of them.
Working with Philippa, her lovely Mum (Fiona) and Ash for their home marquee wedding just up on the hill from the studio was a delight..
Pleased to share with you some of Fiona's fantastic images she captured of this lovely wedding. Fiona was a delight and incredibly friendly - not only a wedding photographer, family portraits and equine too.. Check out her Fiona Scott Photography
Philippa and her family trusted me to pull of her vision of country flowers with some marquee drama! The marquee was supplier by Oak Leaf Marquees.
The bridal flowers and table flowers were made up of country classics, David Austin Kiera, English Garden rose Miss English, Super Bubbles, Mint, Scabious, Sweet Peas, and Senico. Philippa's Bridal Bouquet was bound with the most beautiful Silk Ribbon from Lancaster and Cornish.
The tables were decorated with wooden boxes filled with all country flowers as well as out Bell Vases with full and dramatic foliage arrangements to create height and interest in the marquee.
Beautiful Maids with their posies full of Senico, Margaret Merril, Oryla, Scabious and oodles of Sweet Peas.
Full Foliage hoop above the bar.. full of grey tonal foliage, Pittosporum, and Garden Roses.. and topped off with hanging halogen bulbs.
Beautiful Cake made by the talented Emma of Fancie Buns, we supplied the flowers and she did her thing decorating the cake.
"Emma a huge thank you for your amazing flowers for Philippa & Ash's wedding on the 16th. They were much admired on both the day itseld and the next day - your ears would have been burning. The large vases of greenery & fabuloous hoop were real starts and certainly worth all your hard work. Many thanks again..
