Timeless touch for Katherine & Terran.
Katherine came to me with a special request for a personal bouquet for her wedding day. One that encompassed a similar look to her grandmas's 1940's bouquet. So we opted for using long ferns and creating a cascade bouquet full of woodland textures like Bluebells, Narcissi, Solomons Seal and beautiful roses with touches of coral and ivory. We used Princess Aiko Garden Rose which was just perfect with its ruffled petals encompassing pinks, corals and ivories in all its loveliness.
The bouquet was created in a chicken wire egg to give it stability throughout the day and enabled me to create the length that was so desperatley needed to portray that 40's look.
Katherine chose our A La Carte Service for bespoke flowers for her bridal party and her family and Godmother got creative in the Church and Tent, making the day a really lovely family affair. Just as it should be.

It was a real joy creating something different for Katherine and I loved the challenge!

I remember first talking to you over the phone, feeling very relaxed about everything and saying how my only real request was that I wanted to keep things natural and rustic, and to base my bouquet on my grandmother's from 1938; all I can say is you absolutely smashed it! My bouquet was just perfect and one of my favourite things from our wedding day (so much so, I'm having it preserved whole to treasure forever).
And the flower crown - just WOW! as soon as it was in place, I literally felt incredible and was even more excited to put on the rest of my outfit to complete the look!
We received so many lovely comments on the day about the bouquets, crowns and button holes, I'm even getting emotional now thinking back on all of this, how I felt and just wishing we could do it all again... "
