Spring Delights for Francesca and William
The first wedding of the year for me was this gorgeous Cerne Abbas wedding for Francesca and William, a real village affair! It was just a delight all of it. With a request for bright flowers and full of spring gems, from Tulips, Ranunculus, Icelandic Poppies, Viburnum Opulus and well so much more we pulled the look together with a natural country look.
The Church was a little more pale in palette and I loved creating a real centre piece to frame this natural couple. We were planning to decorate the outside of the church but as storm Harry raged, we moved the decoration into the porch creating a meadow as you walked in.
Francesca and William had a Coastal Tents Tipi, which was the perfect cosy hide away from the roaring winds outside. Just grateful there was no rain! Making their hanging installation in the Tipi was fun, full of peonies and British tulips from Dorset!
All these lovely images are from Alice Morgan Photorgraphy, a real delight and joy to work with. Other suppliers on the day was Emma from Fancie Buns who created the cake and Beast and Bacchus.
There are days when you love my job - I do every wedding. But there was something about this wedding, the entire village was behind it, involed and so excited for it to happen. It was a real delight and well those flowers just brought a dollop of warmth to a cold and windy April day.
So much concentration!
Adore this image with the brights, the gorgeous flower girl and the perfect blue back drop!
